Please avoid blindly accepting anything you see, hear or read, here or elsewhere, simply because someone says so, regardless of his or her title, position, reputation, etc.   On the other hand, it is equally foolish to reject another's point of view simply because it does not substantiate your own opinions, fixed impressions, and beliefs about reality.   Remember, reality is whatever reality is regardless of what any of us believes it to be.

Look for yourself at the evidence here and elsewhere.   Accept what fits for you right now and then trash the rest.   If it is truth, if it is meant for you and you've just trashed it, that's okay.   It will come around again.   On the other hand, if the same message has come to you several times from several sources, you would probably do well to listen this time.

   Imagine a god so small he can fit inside of just one human religion.

   Imagine a god so weak that he needs humans to help him punish 
      the unfaithful.

   Imagine a god that is angry, fickle, arbitrary, wrathful, vindictive, 
     jealous, and infinitely insecure.

   Imagine god as an intolerant, easily displeased, and violent
      super-human being sitting on a cloud somewhere?   

   Imagine a god that is demanding something from you, and you're not
      quite sure what he wants, but he's going to destroy or turn your life
       into a living hell if you don't give it to him.

   Imagine a god  who, with what seems like arbitrary unpredictability,
      heaps great good fortune onto some, horrendous misery onto others,
       and pretty much ignore everyone else.

   Imagine a god so conniving that he set Eve up for a fall by placing
      a forbidden fruit tree right under her nose and then handing down
      the death penalty when she ate an apple from that tree.   Imagine a
      god so sadistic  that he hid the antidote tree (the tree of eternal life)
       somewhere else and didn't tell Adam or Eve about it.    Instead  he
       kicks their asses clear our of paradise and lets them die.

   Imagine an angry, hypocritical, and unforgiving god that preaches
       forgiveness and at the same time,  carries the longest grudge in all
        creation.  Imagine a god who is still punishing people today because
       a long dead ancestor ate fruit from a forbidden tree.

   Imagine a god so brutal that He sends his believers out rape,
       rob, pillage, plunder, and murder those who believe in a different
       religion.

   Imagine a god  so weird that he murdered his own son to prove He
       love you.

   Imagine a god who (according to the Christian, Moslem, Hindu sacred
       books ) mass murdered or demanded the mass murder of  millions
       of  men, women and children.    (Doesn't this make you sort of
       wonder if this imposter god and people like Saddam Hussein are
        somehow related?)

   Imagine a god who rewards those who commit mass murder of people simple because those people believe in a different religion.   (Remember the beliefs of those responsible of the 9-11-2001 World Trade Center tragedy.   Where do you suppose this so-called god found twenty-six virgins who were willing to give their virginity to a pride-filled, mass  murder?  Perhaps this imposter god doesn't have to find willing women.   Perhaps this god is in the sex-slave business.)

   Imagine a god who claims to be all present.   Imagine that god
       making humans defective and inherently evil and then separating
      himself from them.

   Imagine a god whose needs, whose reasoning, and whose actions
      completely escape human understanding.

   Imagine a needy, brooding god that preaches free will and, at the
       same time, demands obedience to certain laws and those laws keep
       changing depending upon which revered religious leader is telling you
       what the rules are.

   Imagine a god  with an ego so great that  he damans our worship and
       a self-image so  small that he demands our obedience.

   Imagine a god who claims to be all knowing and, at the same time,  is
       also so stupid that the only way he can fill up heaven with good folks
       is to create billion of humans, send them through a life on Earth to
       test them to see which ones are good enough to get into heaven.

   Imagine a god so callous that he throws away over half of his
      creations before they even get a chance to grow beyond the single
      fertilized egg stage.  (They get washed out of the woman’s body in her
      menstrual cycle)

Imagine for a moment,  how many of his own  children he has literally flushed down the toilets of the world.    Did you ever wonder where those billions of god-created,  sewer-abandoned, and now eternal  humans are today?

   Imagine a god so coldhearted that he throws away over half of half
     of those who actually get born because they didn’t get wet and blessed
     by the right holy man.

   Imagine a god so mindless  that he publicly demands sexual
      abstinence of  his revered leaders but allows those same leaders to
       secretly, sexually molest young boys in their care.

   Imagine a god so perverted that he uses sexual behavior as the main
      criteria to distinguish between good folks and bad people.

   Imagine a god so depraved that he considers representations  of the
      ultimate act of creation to be obscene and yet condones and allows
       acts of violence and murder to be freely displayed in the public media
      for the open viewing of everyone, including impressionable young
      children. 

     Imagine a god so depraved that he censors scenes which include a
        naked female breast, and at the same time,  allows graphic
       depictions of rape, brutality, violence, and murder to be freely
       viewed by all.   

   Imagine a god so sexually paranoid that he tells his believers to treat
      women as property.   Imagine a god so perverted that he tells his
      believers that a woman's main value is as a servant and a sex slave.

   Imagine a god who tells you it's OK to sell your daughter as a sex
       slave, and that it's OK for her owner to beat her with a stick as long
       as she recovers in a day or so.   (Christian Bible, Exodus 21)

   Imagine a god so narrow minded that he directs his followers to
       ignore the 40,000 innocent children who starve to death each and
       every day or die of curable diseases.  Instead, he sends his believers
       out to spend their time, money, and effort forcing unwilling women
       to bear more unwanted children in an already overcrowded world.

   Imagine that "The Great God Money," is the most revered deity on
       the planet, today?

   If there is any such being as "The Devil," where do you suppose 
      he's hiding?

Or is it you want the world to change?  Either way, we need to start at home, with our own belief system.  We have to look for, find, examine, and then drop the fairytales we live by.   We have to admit:

 *  That business as usual is what got us into this mess, and business
       as usual is not going to get us out of it.

*  That all the physical stuff we cling to for security is just another
       false god;  

*  That the ultimate source of life is not a angry, jealous, fickle,
       vengeful, superhuman sitting on a cloud in the sky;  

*  That God's Conception-Magic Act  is simply a Medieval
       fairytale;  

*  That "God" has more than one messenger;

*  That our way is not the only path to "God.";

 *  That abortion is a religious freedom issue;

 *  That you and I and every other human being are the collective
       co-creators of this mess we are in;   

*  That we are each also eternal beings who create by thought, 
      word, and deed.

If we still believe the stories we were told when we were children, we have to admit:

*  That we are living a lie;

*  That the world is a hopelessly lost cause;

*  That we are frightened little rabbits alone in a forest of foxes;

*  That we are really only guessing about  "what we are"  or  
      "why we are here,"  or  "where we are going to be 
      one hundred Earth-years from today."   

We have to admit that and the only thing we can change is ourselves.

Once that internal self is acknowledged and accepted,  an entirely new context arises.  We see, hear, taste touch,  smell and know that the only thing we need to change is ourselves.   Out of that realization the world around us begins to change all by itself.   Our personal transformation literally alters the world we live in.

Our job then becomes two-fold, first to be a role model for others to follow and second, to regularly ask,  "How can I be of Service?"

How does all this relate to our life on planet Earth?

Here's  a hint:  "Practicing altruism is the most selfish thing you can do."   When you find your own answer, you'll know why, and you'll willingly play "win win" with us.

   There aren’t any bad guys.   God is on everybody’s side.

   “All truths are only partial truths.”   Regardless of what you know or 
      claim to know, there is always more you can’t possibly know.

   Trying to stick God into a single religion is like trying to fit the
       universe into a shoe box. 

   Unless you genuinely seek the truth and question the validity of 
      the stories told to you by your religious leaders, you are stuck
      in a demonic trap of illusion.

   Regarding abortion, nobody can prove with absolute certainty that 
     their beliefs are true and that other peoples beliefs are false.

   Abortion is a highly complex religious issue.   It’s also a religious 
     freedom issue.

   If the Christian Bible is correct, then God is my grandfather.  Before
      you dismiss me as just another lunatic, you might be wise to read 
      my story.   He could be your grandfather, too.

   We are all one people.   Race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, etc. 
     are all simply rolls we play in the game called life.

   Eternity is now.   Time and space cease to be when we step outside of
      physical reality.

   Humans are NOT their physical bodies.   Humans are eternal divine 
     beings temporarily inhabiting human bodies.   The human physical
      body can be likened to a house.   A tenant moves in and later move
      back out again.   The tenant is not the house.   The house is not the
      tenant.   

   There is no such thing as death, only a change of form and “location.”

   There is no such thing as “life beginning.”  The consciousness that
       animates  physical bodies always was and always will be.   It simply
       moves in and out of physical bodies.

   Reincarnation is true.   The story the life begins at conception (God’s
       conception magic act)  is not reality; it’s only an ancient story about
       reality that dates back to time when people believed the Earth was
       flat

   Abortion is nothing more than stopping work on a construction site.   
      The eternal divine being (a being just like you and me) who would
       have entered that body will simply enters human form in another
       body at another time and place.

   Coke and Pepsi are both just carbonated and flavored, sugar water
       that rot your teeth and throw the PH balance in your body 
      way out of kilter.  (We just added this sentence to see if you are 
      really paying attention.)

   Christians do not have exclusive access to God.

   God inspired the writing of numerous sacred writings in addition to
       the Christian Bible, writings such as the Vedas, the Qur'an, the
      Talmud, the Bhagavad-Gita, and The Book, of Mormon.

   Everything is sacred or nothing is sacred.    Prayer is not something
      done at special times and special place.   Prayer (Honoring our
      Source) is a way of being,  a way of living in harmony with all of God's
      creations.

   The anti-abortion war is a evil-inspired campaign

   The Anti-abortion war does not save lives.   It merely transfers death
      to other beings at other times and places and in the process, brings 
     pain, suffering, and misery to millions.

   Christ-like behavior has been removed from the anti-abortionist’s
