. 2) Self-Preparation:2.1 Decide what you intend to experience:Decide what will be your point of focus. During the initial learning phase we suggest you pick goal that is relatively easy to manifest in a reasonably short time. An introductory goal might be something like this: "Each day, for the next seven days, I will sit quietly and breath deeply for three minutes." 2.2 Write a clear vision statement:Pre-write a clear description of what you intend to manifest. Clearly state your intention in personal, positive, and present-tense language. Be very specific. Focus on only one task at a time. Answer each of these questions: What do I choose / require to be, have, do, express, or experience? By when do I intend to have it? How will I know when I have succeeded? Why do I desire/require this? (Write a list of benefits?) These are the reasons why I expect to be successful. (Write a list of reasons?) (See Section 4.6 below -- Empower your visions with emotion) (See Section: 1808-C-Goals-&-Planning.) 2.3 Carefully assess your intention:Your level of success will depend of several factors such as your level of commitment. If you carefully examine your goal and all known factors involved you will have a better idea if this is really something you want. Ask yourself these questions: What are the costs and risks involved in seeking this goal? What will my life be like if I take no action toward manifesting my vision? What will my life be like if I take action and fail to successfully manifesting my vision? What will my life be like when I have successfully manifested this vision? 2.4 Create a group alignment:If you are working with others, allow into your group only those who are in perfect alignment with your task. Decide on a team leader. When you gather together, if possible, be away from magnetic interferences. (anything that has electric power running through it.) 2.5 Employ cycle breakers:The goal here is to calm the mind and the body, so begin with the four basic centering / cycle-breaking exercises: (1) Reptilian Brain / Human Brain; (2) Left Brain / Right Brain; (3) Conscious /sub conscious, and (4) Rock the baby. If you have not yet been introduced to the exercises mentioned above, you can simply take several deep breaths or use your own calming techniques. Whatever method of relaxing you employ, please implement it prior to moving to the next step. (See: Section 1815-Cycle-Breakers) 2.6 Allow time for integration:After each statement, become silent for as much time as it took you to speak your statement. Silence is important because being briefly silent, allows time for the transition and integration of the statements you make. Prior to moving to the next statement, take the time to feel each statement and make it part of your being. During that silent time, imagine, visualize, hear, and feel the reality of the words you have just spoken (or heard). Search for the feelings associated with your statement. Your emotions (your feelings) are the power generators behind you thoughts. Ask yourself, “What does this statement mean?” Feel your answers. 2.7 Create harmony:Creating Harmony is job number one in our lives. If you are significantly out of harmony with anything in your life your level of success in focusing on what you want is going to be seriously affected. Thus, the first twelve steps in the process described below are designed to focus on creating harmony. 2.8 Why are there so many steps?Because statements of intention (affirmations) work only when applied within an appropriate context. (See Section 1805-C~ Context) Because this process functions at its best when we are in harmony with every one and everything. Because the process described below actually works, (for those who choose to apply it). Once you have become accustomed to this practice, you will find that the first twelve steps (below in the next section) are very easy and take relatively little time. .
