. Joy 101 Life Coaching looks at commonly accepted behavior patterns in ways youve probably never thought of. We'll examine dozens of subtle distinctions which, on the surface, seem trivial but, depending on how you respond to them, actually make a vast difference in your life. Here are just three examples: The distinction between being and doing Most of us attempt to create from doing, but creation is first and foremost a function of being -- a function of our beliefs, emotions, thoughts, and attitudes -- a function of who we are. Most of us trade in our beingness for doing and get lost in the doing or become overwhelmed by tasks, jobs and activities. The distinction between doing or not doing, and trying Trying and doing are mutually exclusive actions. You can either try to do something or you can do it, but you cant both try and do at the same time. Saying Ill try, is both preprogramming yourself for failure and justifying your failure. The distinction between a prayer of request and a prayer of gratitude Most people have been taught to pray as beggars from a space of lack, asking a seemingly whimsical God for favors. This completely defies The Universal Laws of Creation by thought. It places the desired outcome away from the one praying and tells the Universe to bring him or her more wanting. As an example of the opposite style of prayer , one has but to examine the prayers of Jesus. He never asked in prayer. He merely said thank you, while knowing his intention was already real. . |

. . Practices, and Techniques Joy 101 Life Coaching explains dozens of ideas using practical examples, and teaching stories along with numerous practices and techniques, all designed to assist the reader in easily expanding on his or her latent potential. Here are just three examples: Learning Self-Acceptance The first element in stepping into our untapped potential is to learn how to accept ourselves exactly as we are -- to realize that, in spite of our faults and our shortcomings, we are complete, whole, and excellent exactly as we are. This wholesome self-attitude provides the base from which we can then reach that grander vision of who we choose to be. Overcoming Illusion Three essential aspects of living a fulfilling life include: getting beyond the illusions that were programmed into us when we were little children, seeing reality as it actually is, and learning the rules of intentional creation. Eliminating Internal Conflicts Our minds are commonly filled with conflicting beliefs. For example, how do you resolve the conflict between believing the words written in the Christian Bible and, at the same time, not believing the words of Jesus when he said, Anything I can do you can do and more. . |

. . a Whole New World of Possibilities Life is just not what we think it is. The only thing we know for certain about reality is that what we dont know about it far exceeds what we do know. For example, consider these three possibilities: Facts Based on Assumptions We take so much of life for granted that we never bother to question or examine many of the underlying assumptions upon which we base our lives. For example, when we examine our daily behavior in light of the three fundamental assumptions of life (Christian one-life-ism, reincarnation, and atheism) we find that each assumption gives a vastly different meaning and purpose to many of the things we previously saw as fixed, immutable and only one way. You May Hold the Future of Humanity in Your Hands Out there in what is commonly called the lunatic fringe, where one would find the malcontents, the eccentrics, lunatics and the quasi-criminals, youll also find the visionaries, the dreamers, the possibility thinkers -- and the future of humanity. For example: Galileo was imprisoned for life, for publicly proclaiming that the Earth was round. He and countless others like him have been major contributors to the future of humanity; yet, when these people expressed their mastery into the world, they were looked at as trouble makers, as lunatics, or as fools. Consider this possibility: Your dream or vision, if developed, could alter the future of humanity. The Intimate Love Arts Because it is so natural and instinctive, sex is assumed to be nothing more than what it is as it’s presently experienced. Even if you find your present sex life satisfactory and fulfilling, I assure you that sex as you presently know it is still only one small piece of a very large pie. If you choose to use the sexual energy to alter your consciousness, you’ll be amazed and delighted with the results. . |
